The Medina County Solid Waste District is pleased to announce that food composting is now available to residents.

Location: 8730 Lake Road, Seville (near the single-stream recycling bins)

Hours of Operation:
Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

What is Food Composting?
Food composting is the process of collecting and naturally breaking down food scraps such as fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds, eggshells, and other organic materials. The result is a nutrient-rich compost that can be used to improve soil health and reduce waste sent to landfills.

By participating in this program, Medina County residents can help promote environmental sustainability and contribute to a cleaner, greener community.
